# SFL Media Release

This Media Release is between you and Strike Fighter League Inc., a Delaware corporation ("SFL"). It is a license you give SFL as part of your agreement with SFL. It is not a separate consent.

# 1. What this covers

"Your Media" means:

(a) Gameplay Footage: video, images and replays of your flying in SFL events and in sessions you fly on SFL servers (practice, qualification runs and competition), including views and visualizations SFL renders from its session recordings.

(b) Event Comms: your voice on the SFL-operated channels that SFL marks as recorded.

(c) Your Callsign: your callsign, the nationality flag SFL shows beside it, your squadron where you mark it public, and any other SFL profile details you mark public.

SFL identifies you by callsign, including in results, rankings and prize announcements. SFL uses your legal name only if you put it in your public SFL profile.

Your Media does not include your face, any webcam or face-camera feed, or any physiological data. Face-camera capture happens only from qualification onward, under a separate consent.

# 2. The license

You grant SFL a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to record, use, copy, edit, broadcast, stream, publicly display, distribute and archive Your Media, in any medium now known or later developed, for League Purposes only.

"League Purposes" means operating, scheduling, scoring, adjudicating, securing, broadcasting, streaming, archiving, promoting, marketing and advertising SFL and SFL events.

SFL's broadcast partners and service providers may use Your Media on SFL's behalf, for League Purposes only. SFL may transfer this license to a successor to its business.

You grant this license as part of your agreement with SFL, in return for your SFL account and the chance to enter and compete in SFL events.

# 3. What this does not allow

This Release does not let SFL:

(a) sell or license Your Media, or data drawn from it, as a dataset;

(b) use Your Media to train an AI model, or license it to anyone who will;

(c) create a synthetic voice or likeness of you; or

(d) let anyone use Your Media for their own purposes, other than SFL and those acting for SFL under clause 2.

SFL's own production tools for editing, captioning and sportscast narration may work on Your Media to make SFL coverage, including tools that use AI. No such tool is trained on Your Media, and none creates a synthetic voice or likeness of you.

Any of the uses in (a) to (d) would need a separate agreement that you choose to sign. Saying no never affects your registration or entry.

# 4. Sponsors

Sponsors may appear alongside, and be shown with, Your Media only in connection with SFL events and their promotion. No sponsor may use your callsign, gameplay, voice or likeness in standalone product advertising, or in any way that suggests you personally endorse it, without your separate written consent.

# 5. Practice sessions

Practice on SFL servers opens only after you enter an event. SFL records practice sessions on SFL servers, and clips and posts them to SFL's channels as a regular part of its coverage. Those posts identify you by callsign. You will be asked to acknowledge this when you enter an event.

A callsign tied to you is personal data. SFL treats it that way, and never describes content that identifies you by callsign as anonymous.

# 6. Pilots under 18, and pilots whose age SFL has not verified

SFL publishes content in which you appear or can be identified only after SFL has verified that you are 18 or older or, if you are under 18, after your parent or guardian has signed SFL's guardian consent.

Until then, including while SFL has no date of birth on file for you, SFL publishes nothing in which you appear or can be identified: no broadcast, video on demand, clips, social posts or promotional material. This applies to every SFL channel, including the clips SFL posts from practice sessions. SFL may still capture, score and run your sessions in the meantime.

If you are under 18, this license takes effect for publication only once your parent or guardian has signed SFL's guardian consent.

# 7. Recorded channels and other people on your mic

SFL marks every recorded channel with a recording indicator and a join announcement. Recording runs only during active, marked sessions. You agree:

(a) not to bring anyone onto a recorded channel who has not accepted SFL's recording terms, including guests and coaches; and

(b) to take reasonable care that people in the room with you know your open microphone is being recorded.

# 8. No payment, no approval

You receive no payment for this license. Prizes you win under the published event rules are separate. SFL does not need your approval for an edit, clip or publication. SFL will not edit Your Media in a way that misrepresents what you did or said.

# 9. If you stop competing or close your account

This license starts when you accept this Release. If you leave an event or close your account, SFL stops capturing you. Your Media already captured stays licensed for League Purposes. SFL keeps and deletes it as section 18 of the SFL Privacy Notice describes. Section 9 of the Privacy Notice explains how SFL handles a request to remove published content.

# 10. Your data-protection rights

Nothing in this Release limits any right you have under data-protection law. The SFL Privacy Notice at https://the-sfl.com/privacy explains how SFL handles the personal data in Your Media.

# 11. Other SFL documents

This Release does not amend or replace the OTS-2 Competitor Consent, Eligibility & Media Release v1.0-20260629, which covers OTS-2 invitees only. Face-camera consent at qualification is a separate document. Any data-licensing program SFL offers in future would be a separate choice (Privacy Notice section 5), and nothing of yours would be licensed under it unless you opt in.

# 12. Part of the Terms

This Release forms part of the SFL Pilot Terms and Conditions from the first version of those Terms that lists it. Until then, it governs you on its own, from the day you accept it at registration or on your account page.

# 13. Changes

SFL gives each version of this Release a version id and a date. A change that widens what SFL may do with Your Media applies to you only after you accept it by an affirmative act. Silence never counts as acceptance. For any other material change, SFL gives at least 30 days' notice by email and in your account before the change takes effect. You may close your account at any time, at no cost. If you are under 18, SFL sends every change notice to your parent or guardian, and only your parent or guardian can accept a change. Once this Release forms part of the SFL Pilot Terms and Conditions, changes follow the change process in those Terms.

# 14. Governing law

Delaware law governs this Release, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This choice does not take away any protection of the law where you live that cannot be waived by contract.
